GROUP PROJECT · Self-initiated business

My role

Project Lead · Brand & Business Development

I led the project and coordinated contributions across design, illustration, and social media marketing. The product brings together physical equipment, a payment experience, and printed outputs.

My contribution

  • Led the project from the initial concept to business launch
  • Developed brand positioning and the business model
  • Prepared cost-of-goods calculations, profit projections, and investor considerations
  • Worked on vendor revenue-sharing arrangements and café partnership negotiations
  • Coordinated design, illustration, and social media marketing contributions

My focus: Taking a photobooth concept through brand positioning, business planning, launch, and partner discussions.

[01] Story

TherMemo brings a photobooth experience into a physical setting using a box, tablet, and thermal printer, with automated QRIS payments. Its product range includes receipt-style keepsakes, stickers, and greeting cards. My role covered bringing the concept, creative work, and commercial planning together.

Problem [02]

The concept needed a clear identity, a cost structure, and a partnership model that connected the customer experience with the practical needs of operating at a café.

[03] Approach

Goals

Stage

Bring a physical keepsake experience and a workable business model together.

Challenges

Stage

Coordinating the creative product, equipment, pricing, and partner economics.

Context

01

Defined the business concept and the printed product offering around the physical photobooth experience.

Direction

02

Developed brand positioning and coordinated design and illustration contributions across the product and its communication.

Implementation

03

Worked on cost-of-goods calculations, profit projections, investor considerations, and vendor revenue-sharing arrangements.

Delivery

04

Led the project through business launch and handled café partnership negotiations.

Collaboration

05

Connected product planning with the commercial arrangements needed to work with vendors and café partners.

Result [04]

TherMemo moved from a personal business concept to launch, with a physical photobooth offering and a commercial plan for working with café partners.

Commercial planning included cost-of-goods calculations, profit projections, and vendor revenue-sharing arrangements.

What this work brings together

A physical product needs more than an interface. Brand positioning, production costs, vendor arrangements, and the café partnership all belong in the same product conversation.
